President Donald Trump's failed assassin, Ryan Routh, is requesting to be imprisoned in a state that permits assisted suicide after being found guilty in federal court.
Routh, who represented himself during his trial in September, was quickly found guilty on all five counts related to his plot to assassinate then-presidential candidate Trump at his golf course in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Ahead of his sentencing hearing on December 18, Routh faces a potential life sentence in prison.
Routh was convicted last month in federal court and is now requesting to be imprisoned in a state which permits assisted suicide.
Routh's request is notable as he seeks to be imprisoned in a state with specific laws regarding assisted suicide.
