Celtic's New Signing Praised by Former Manager
Celtic's sporting director has been told that one of their new recruits, Sebastian Tounekti, is a player who is "needed" in the English Premier League.
Tounekti's former manager at Ranheim, Ingebrigtsen, now the club's sporting director, has praised the Celtic winger, saying he has the potential to play in bigger and better leagues "around the world".
"I sent him a message when he went from Hammarby to Celtic, congratulating him on the move."
Ingebrigtsen's comments come after Tounekti has made a standout impression at Celtic, despite only making 10 appearances for the team so far.
Celtic's summer transfer business saw the arrival of several new players, including Benjamin Nygren and Marcelo Saracchi, but Tounekti has been singled out as a player with significant potential.
