A Pompano Beach man, Daniel Gallumette, has been arrested and charged with animal abuse after leaving two dogs in cages on his driveway with minimal food and water.
According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, the dogs were found in a filthy cage outside a home on Northwest 18th Street, with little to no shelter from harsh weather conditions.
"You're charged with one count, tormenting, depriving, mutilating, killing an animal," said Judge Corey C.
Gallumette, 45, appeared before a judge on Monday to face the charges.
