Local Runners Prepare for State Cross Country Meet
A total of 13 Wise County runners are set to compete at the UIL cross country state championship meets at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock.
The 3A Girls 2-Mile will feature Paradise's running duo, sophomore Allie McCormick and freshman Taryn Stoltz.
- Slidell's Carter Pierce, Cash Luig, Joshua Beard, Marshall Hooker, Mayson Taylor, Giovannie Peralta, and Tre Salinas
- Alvord's Hudson Kelly
These runners will compete in the 2A Boys 5K at 11:25 a.m.
