Paralympic Star George Peasgood's Incredible Comeback
Double Paralympic medallist George Peasgood has made a remarkable return to racing three years after a freak accident that nearly killed him.
As Peasgood notes,
it was never a case of if it would happen, but when, regarding his comeback. The triathlon and cycling medallist, as well as time trial World Champion, took a significant step forward on Sunday.
The accident occurred on October 1, 2022, during a training ride when Peasgood's cleat slipped out of his pedal, causing him to be catapulted over his handlebars.
