Costumed pets and their owners attended the first-ever "Tricks for Treats" Halloween celebration at Fields of Barktopia Dog Park, supporting shelter animals.
The event allowed families to enjoy festive fun while raising funds for animals in need, with proceeds going towards veterinary care and the completion of the society's new building.
"We want our community to be able to come in and feel like they're doing their part in helping us, and they've done that and more,"said Ashleigh Blackmon, Hub City Humane Society Board President.
The community's support will help provide electricity, plumbing, and kennels for the new building.
