Murray State University to Celebrate Homecoming 2025
In celebration of 100 years of Agriculture at Murray State University, the Murray State University Alumni Association (MSUAA) is proud to announce that 1980 graduate Eddie Melton has been selected as the Grand Marshal for the 2025 Homecoming Parade.
Murray State Homecoming is on Oct. 1, with the parade taking place along Main Street. Melton, a lifelong resident of Sebree, Kentucky, was recently elected president of the Kentucky Farm Bureau (KFB) for a second term.
- Operates a diversified farm producing corn, soybeans, and beef cattle in Webster County.
- Past chair of the KFB State Resolutions Committee.
- Past president of the Board of Directors for the Kentucky Center for Agriculture & Rural Development.
Eddie Melton, a respected leader in Kentucky agriculture, will lead the 2025 Homecoming Parade.
