According to Spark Foundry planning director Kate Osborne, the festive season doesn't end on Christmas Day. In fact, for marketers, Boxing Day marks the beginning of a new window of opportunity, known as the 'Q5' period.
A lot of consumers are spending less; staying indoors a little bit more, but that does still leave an awful lot of opportunity for certain brands.
Osborne explains that while many people wind down after Christmas, there are still opportunities for brands to engage with consumers during this time.
