The creators of IT: Welcome to Derry discuss the premiere episode's shocking ending, which they describe as a "kick in the balls".

The show is based on Stephen King's novel IT, which focuses on the bond between the kid protagonists, known as the Loser's Club, as they fight the supernatural entity IT.
The first episode introduces a new group of kid heroes, but says goodbye to most of them in a surprising and brutal way.
