Warren Zevon Tribute Concert: A Night of Subversion and Tenderness
The 'Warren Zevon: Join Me in L.A.' tribute concert, held at L.A.'s United Theater, featured a star-studded lineup, including Jackson Browne, Dwight Yoakam, and Fountains of Wayne.
The concert, which lasted nearly four hours, included over 30 songs performed by more than 50 musicians. Despite its length, the tribute still felt incomplete, a testament to the enduring legacy of Warren Zevon's music.
It says that some of us are just a little too greedy, 22 years after the honoree’s death, to hear as many of the rock genius’s greatest songs performed as possible, even if that really would entail playing it all night long.
