David Byrne attended the Philadelphia No Kings march before his third and final 'Who Is The Sky?' show at The Met.
On his new album, Who Is The Sky?, the opening track "Everybody Laughs" showcases Byrne's approving tone towards the many things "everybody" does.
Everybody lives, dies, laughs, cries, sleeps and stares at the ceiling. Everybody's wearing everybody else's shoes, which not everybody does, but I have done.
Byrne's use of the word "everybody" gives an anthropological view of life in New York, conveying his own existence with inclusivity.
