A34 Updates: Huge 98-Metre-Long Wide Load in North Staffordshire
Police have been involved in the transportation of an abnormal load through North Staffordshire.
The load has paused at The Harvester near Trentham to allow traffic to clear and will resume its journey towards Newcastle at 12:25hrs on the A34.
- The load will pass through Stafford and is currently on its way to Stone.
- Motorists are advised to adjust their routes if travelling through Stone, Newcastle, and Butt Lane.
- The load will go 'contraflow' after Walton island and then onto Darlaston, rejoining the correct side as it heads to Newcastle.
Please try to be courteous and understanding as the load makes its way to Cheshire.
