Unfulfilled Promise: The Best Character Tease in the MCU
Eight years after the premiere of Thor: Ragnarok in 2017, Marvel Studios still hasn't paid off a brilliant character tease from the MCU's Phase 3.
The movie, which took away practically everything from Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and trapped him on the garbage planet of Sakaar, reunited him with Bruce Banner's Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), who had become the champion of the Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum), Sakaar's tyrannical leader.
Despite teasing the existence of one of Marvel's best heroes, the character's debut never materialized.
One of the most exciting character teases in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was delivered in Thor: Ragnarok.
Marvel Studios has teased live-action versions of many iconic characters from Marvel Comics who haven't yet appeared in the MCU, leaving fans waiting for a resolution.
