Xander Schauffele Wins Baycurrent Classic in Japan
Xander Schauffele has claimed a sentimental victory in Japan, where he has many connections, as his mother grew up in the country.
Schauffele shot a seven-under 64 on Sunday to win the Baycurrent Classic, finishing with a total of 19-under 265 over four rounds at the Yokohama Country Club.
He finished one shot ahead of American Max Greyserman, who was also the runner-up at this event a year ago.
Australian Min Woo Lee capped off a solid performance, claiming a top-10 spot.
Xander Schauffele's victory may not have been his most prestigious, but it could be the American's most memorable.
