Unpacking the Twist in 'Gen V' Episode 7
'Gen V' co-creator Eric Kripke discusses the major plot reveal in Episode 7, where Dr. Thomas Godolkin is exposed as the true identity of Cipher, played by Hamish Linklater.
The twist shows that Dr. Godolkin had been disguising himself as Cipher, the dean of Godolkin University, and had been manipulating Marie (Jaz Sinclair) to gain the power of healing and/or resurrection.
