Spain Defeats Bulgaria 4-0
Arsenal midfielders Mikel Merino and Martin Zubimendi led Spain to a 4-0 win over Bulgaria in Valladolid.
Merino scored the first two goals, with
his header from an Alejandro Grimaldo crossand another in the first period. An own goal by Atanas Chernev and a penalty by Mikel Oyarzabal added to the score.
- Merino has now scored six goals in his last four games for Spain.
- Zubimendi played an excellent 63 minutes before being replaced.
