Saskatoon Hilltops Advance to PFC Semifinal

The Saskatoon Hilltops have overcome adversity throughout the season, and their regular-season finale was no exception. Despite facing rain, wind, and snow, as well as a lengthy delay, they secured a 31-6 victory over the Calgary Colts.

“It is what it is,” said Hilltops head coach Tom Sargeant.

The team now moves on to the Prairie Football Conference playoffs, with their first game against the Winnipeg Rifles this Sunday. When asked if the Hilltops are ready for a long playoff run, Sargeant replied,

“We’re going to find out.”

The conditions during the game were challenging, with a slippery ball and turf. However, the Hilltops were able to adapt and come out on top.
