Mayor's Plan to Curb Violence in Downtown Cincinnati
Cincinnati's mayor, Aftab Pureval, has called the ongoing gun violence issues "absolutely intolerable" and announced new safety measures to address the problem.
- CDRT and SWAT teams will be deployed to Fountain Square from 2 p.m.
- A new legislation will be introduced to enforce an earlier curfew in the Fountain Square District, potentially starting at 6 p.m.
"If you are an unsupervised teen and you are breaking curfew, we will move you or we will arrest you,"
The curfew warning applies to all areas within the urban core, not just Fountain Square, according to Pureval.
