Microsoft publishes Windows 10 $30 ESU (Extended security updates) in the Store

Windows 10 Extended Security Updates

As of October 14, 2025, Windows 10 has reached its End of Life, but users can extend its lifespan through the Extended Security Updates (ESU) program.

The ESU program allows users to continue receiving updates, with options to enroll varying by region. In the EU, a Microsoft account is required for free ESU, while users outside the EU must also sync their Settings to OneDrive.

Alternatively, users in the US can utilize 1,000 Microsoft Rewards points to sign up for ESU. For those who prefer not to use a Microsoft account or lack Rewards points, a $30 ESU subscription is now available in the Store.
