Recently, the Gracious Mistress of the Parsonage asked me, "Have you come up with a new hobby yet?"
Although I've been retired for about four years, I haven't been idle. I lead a weekly Sunday morning service at an assisted living facility, work on several writing projects, and produce three weekly radio programs.
When asked to define a hobby, the Gracious Mistress of the Parsonage said,
A hobby is something you do for fun.
In response, I suggested that my marriage to her could be considered my primary hobby. This left her without a reply, and she walked away.
Four years have passed, and my weekly routine remains unchanged.
