deugro Signs Port Handling Agreement in Brake
Project forwarder deugro has signed a port handling agreement for wind turbine components at Germany's port of Brake.
The agreement was made with Müller, the local port and terminal operator in Brake, following the award for the handling and storage of wind turbine components at the port by a leading wind turbine manufacturer.
According to deugro, the port of Brake features state-of-the-art transhipment capabilities, expansive storage areas, and specialised equipment for handling complex cargoes, including:
- Heavy lift quays and laydown areas
- Customised exit routes for trucks
- A deep draft of 11.9 m
- Berth capacity for vessels up to 275 m long
