Safety upgrades are expected to begin soon on a key Queensland freight corridor, which sees up to 15,000 vehicles daily.
Planning is underway for road upgrades along the 60-kilometre Warrego Highway stretch between Toowoomba and Dalby, an area with a poor crash history.
Construction will commence in late 2025 and continue into 2026 under the Targeted Road Safety Program.
