Children Found in Critical Condition After Hike with Father
Two children are in critical condition after a hike with their father in Utah, according to the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office.
A 31-year-old man went on a hike with his three children, ages 2, 4, and 8, on Broads Fork Trail on Saturday. The family was reported missing after failing to return on time, and their vehicle was found in the parking lot near the trail.
First responders located the family on Sunday morning, and all four were taken to local hospitals. Two of the children are in critical condition, while the third child is in stable condition, and the father is in "fair" condition.
The sheriff's office is still investigating the incident, and officials have not yet commented on whether any foul play was involved.
