Jaron Ennis Destroys Uisma Lima In One Round
Philadelphia favourite Jaron 'Boots' Ennis began his career at 154 pounds in impressive fashion, defeating Uisma Lima in just one round.
Ennis hurt the once-beaten Angolan early and refused to let him off the hook, ultimately winning at 1:58 of the opening session.
Headlining in the Xfinity Mobile Arena, Ennis was determined to leave his hometown crowd happy with a display of strength in the super-welterweight class.
A blitzing right uppercut started the destruction, with Lima unable to recover due to his technical limitations and squared-up stance.
Ennis displayed levels, using the Portuguese puncher as target practice.
