Man Arrested for Allegedly Sending Inappropriate Texts to Minors
A 69-year-old man from Juelsburg, Colorado, Franklin Martin, was arrested on October 10th for allegedly sending inappropriate text messages to minors.
The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) made the arrest after parents found suspicious texts on their teen’s phone. Martin was booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility on several charges.
- The MCSO believes there may be other victims who had similar contact with Martin.
- Officials are asking anyone with information or who knows someone who had contact with Martin to call the non-emergency dispatch at (970) 242-6707.
The case is currently under investigation.
