Jersey Mike's Opens in Central Square
A long-vacant storefront in Cambridge's Central Square is now home to a Jersey Mike's subs shop, serving until 9 p.m.
The space, located at 675 Massachusetts Ave., was previously a T-Mobile store that closed over eight years ago.
The empty storefront was always just horrible to walk into. It just felt like a dead space in the street.
David Martin, owner and operator of the Jersey Mike's Subs in Cambridge's Central Square, will oversee the new shop, which officially opens on Wednesday.
Martin and his partner, Josh Martin, appeared before the Central Square Advisory Committee in December to discuss their plans.
