Army Expands Campus-Style Dining Plans
The Army is planning to expand its campus-style dining initiative to up to 10 large bases, including overseas locations.
According to officials, this expansion builds on the Army's overhaul of its food services, which includes having private contractors run dining facilities.
- Initial plans were announced earlier this year for five bases:
- Fort Bragg, North Carolina
- Fort Stewart, Georgia
- Fort Hood, Texas
- Fort Drum, New York
- Fort Carson, Colorado
The Army has not named the additional installations that will be included in the expansion.
