Ribbon Display Marks Baby Loss Awareness Week in Clacton
Tendring is marking Baby Loss Awareness Week with a ribbon display at Clacton Seafront Memorial Gardens.
Ribbons are adorning the memorial gardens to mark the week, which runs from October 9 to October 15.
The week aims to
unite those affected by baby loss, offering a space for remembrance, reflection, and awareness.
- Pink, blue and white ribbons are used.
- Crocheted hearts and teddy bears are also displayed.
- Each one represents a baby who was lost during pregnancy, at or soon after birth, or during infancy.
Bill Davidson, chairman of Tendring Council, attended the memorial.
