Plane Crash on Massachusetts Highway
A small plane crashed on Interstate 195 in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, killing 2 people on board and injuring 1 person on the ground.
The crash occurred early Monday amid heavy rain and strong winds from a nor’easter. The plane burst into flames on the median strip of the highway.
At least two people were killed when a small plane crashed and burst into flames on a median strip of Interstate 195 in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.
Videos taken by passing vehicles show smoke billowing up above the highway from scattered, blazing debris. The highway was closed in both directions near the crash site.
The town of Dartmouth is located about 50 miles south of Boston. The state Department of Transportation reported the closure.
