Family Confirms Death Of Evangelist Uma Ukpai At 80
The family of renowned international evangelist and founder of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, Rev. Dr Uma Ukpai, has confirmed his passing.
According to the family statement, titled “Glorious Transition”, Ukpai was said to have “passed on to glory” on October 6, 2025, at the age of 80.

The family described him as “a faithful soldier of the cross,” noting that the revered cleric devoted more than six decades of his life to evangelism, teaching, and prophetic demonstrations of God's power.
Ukpai’s ministry touched millions of lives and transformed destinies across Nigeria and beyond.
