Between busy filming schedules, red-carpet events, and photo shoots, Dakota Johnson manages to maintain a consistent workout routine. Her activities range from yoga and dancing to sculpting low-impact classes and regular walking, exercising almost daily.
“I just want to feel good in my body.”
Johnson emphasizes the mental benefits of staying active, explaining,
“I danced as a child, so I have to exercise every day or I’ll go crazy. I’m a very sensitive person, so if I go off track for two days, I feel like I’m dying, which is probably also a problem.”
She adds that her routine includes a lot of yoga and walking, along with Tracy Anderson workouts and sessions from the Sculpt Society, a method blending strength training, endurance, and dance cardio.
“Megan Roup, the founder of the Sculpt Society, is my trainer – she’s the best and kicks my butt.”
Johnson sticks to this demanding routine because it makes her feel better overall. She notes,
“As you get older, you learn how important sleep, nutrition, and hydration are. I can see the difference in my skin, how I feel, and my energy.”
Dakota Johnson prioritizes daily exercise for both mental well-being and physical health, combining varied workouts and a focus on nutrition and rest.
