Asia Cup 2025 – Players Sanctioned for ICC Code of Conduct Breaches

The International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed the results of disciplinary proceedings related to incidents during the ICC Asia Cup 2025. These hearings were held by Emirates ICC Elite Panel Match Referees after matches involving India and Pakistan on 14, 21, and 28 September.

The hearing was conducted by ICC Match Referee Richie Richardson.

28 September 2025 – Final, India vs. Pakistan

ICC Match Referee Andy Pycroft conducted this hearing.

As a result, Pakistan player Rauf accumulated four demerit points within 24 months, equating to two suspension points under the ICC disciplinary system.

"In accordance with the Code, Rauf is therefore suspended for Pakistan’s ODI games against South Africa on 4 and 6 November 2025."
