Glenn Clifton Jr., known as rapper Young Bleed, a pioneer of Louisiana hip-hop and artist on No Limit Records, passed away at 51 due to complications from a brain aneurysm.
His death was confirmed by his son, Ty’Gee Ramon, on Instagram, who said his father “gained his wings” on Saturday. Ty’Gee Ramon intends to carry on his father’s legacy.

Ty’Gee Ramon noted that his father never had serious health problems but did take routine medication for high blood pressure.
Young Bleed’s mother described the hospitalization as unexpected and created a GoFundMe campaign to help cover medical expenses.
Young Bleed was instrumental in shaping Baton Rouge’s hip-hop scene in the late 1990s. He gained recognition through collaborations with Master P, especially on the 1997 soundtrack album “I’m Bout It.” His debut album released in 1998 achieved gold certification and reached the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 under No Limit Records.
