Spot Guide: Dugi Otok - Best Windsurfing and Wingfoiling Locations

Dugi Otok, Croatia's longest island, features six diverse spots ideal for windsurfing and wingfoiling, offering both flat water and waves.

Meeting a Local Guide

“Okay, 8.30 tomorrow morning” we agree with an elderly local gardener near the harbour. He promises to pick us up and drive us to Sakarun on the other side of the mountain. True to his word, he arrives promptly the next morning. Journey to Sakarun

Our admiration for the gardeners on the island grows as all our equipment fits in his car with the boot open. We are eager to start our long-awaited strong wind session after spending a week sailing off Croatia's coast.

Planning the Trip
