The 2025 Fall Mack Days Fishing Event on Flathead Lake, sponsored by the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, concluded Sunday with a total of 19,144 lake trout entries, surpassing last year’s total of 18,414. A total of 335 anglers participated, with 116 submitting one or more lake trout.

The event’s catch totals were divided between Monday-Thursday with 5,369 entries, and Friday-Sunday with 13,775 entries. Both periods exceeded the 2024 totals of 3,811 (Monday-Thursday) and 14,603 (Friday-Sunday).
