Bracknell Forest is hosting several events to commemorate Remembrance Sunday on 9 November, including parades, church services, and wreath laying ceremonies. This annual day across the United Kingdom honors those who served and sacrificed to protect freedoms and ways of life.
The Poppy Shop is open at The Lexicon Bracknell (next to River Island) until Friday, 7 November. Visit from 10am to 4pm to purchase poppies and related items.
A number of large poppies have been displayed around Bracknell Forest over the past week. These will stay until after Armistice Day, expressing gratitude to armed forces personnel, their families, and veterans.
The Remembrance Parade begins at 10:40am on Sunday 9 November outside Princess Square, then moves through the town centre and The Lexicon Bracknell. The public is encouraged to line the parade route to pay respects.

On Monday 10 November, Bracknell Town FC will host Didcot Town in the Bucks and Berks County Cup at 7:45pm at the SB Stadium.
