Kyle Larson has strengthened his position on the NASCAR Round of 8 cutline after a second-place finish at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Thanks to 19 stage points, Larson is now 35 points above the elimination point with two races remaining.
Larson led a race-high 129 laps on Sunday.
William Byron and Chase Elliott are still within range, needing to make up 15 and 23 points respectively.
