Macy's to Close Unit at Connecticut Distribution Center
Macy's is closing an operating unit at its distribution center in South Windsor, Connecticut, affecting 106 employees.
The closure will occur in stages starting December 28 as part of a multiyear supply chain revamp.
- Impacted positions include warehouse associates, operations managers, warehouse leads, and ARO coordinators.
- All layoffs will be permanent.
Impacted employees will receive information on severance and transfer opportunities to nearby Macy's locations.
No bumping rights are available, and workers are not represented by a union.
