Mike Santana Wins World Title at TNA Bound for Glory
Mike Santana has become a champion after defeating Trick Williams for the TNA World title in the main event of TNA Bound for Glory on Sunday.
Santana secured the win after dodging Williams' Trick Shot, blocking an uranage, and hitting a flying lariat, followed by a discus lariat to get the pin.
As TNA head Carlos Silva was about to present Santana with his title, Nic Nemeth considered cashing in his Call Your Shot gauntlet title shot, but was interrupted by Elias, who returned from injury and took out Nemeth.
Co-winner Frankie Kazarian also attempted to cash in, but was unable to do so since he didn't have the trophy.
Mike Santana can now call himself a singles champion in a major promotion.
