Offset Faces Lawsuit Over Alleged Assault at Cannabis Dispensary
Offset, a prominent Hip-Hop star, is facing a new lawsuit over an alleged attack on a security guard at a Los Angeles cannabis dispensary.
A security guard, Jim Sanchez, filed a civil suit against Offset, claiming he was punched in the face by the rapper during a visit to MedMen LAX in March.
Sanchez alleged that Offset became “hostile, verbally confrontational, and physically attacked Plaintiff by striking him in the face” after being asked to show ID.
The situation allegedly escalated when members of Offset's entourage joined in, further assaulting and battering Sanchez. Paramedics were called to the scene, and Sanchez was treated for severe headaches and neck pain.
- Sanchez is seeking damages for assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
