New Zealand fullback Keano Kini played a key role in a 40-14 Pacific Cup win over Tonga.
The Kiwis' victory was built on a dominant pack and strong performances by Kini and five-eighth Dylan Brown.
Tonga's second-rower Eliesa Katoa was injured during the warm-up and left the field twice for head injury assessments.
