Mega Millions Jackpot Reaches $800 Million
The Mega Millions jackpot is approaching $1 billion. On Friday, the selected numbers were 2, 24, 52, 66, 68, and the Mega Ball was 9.
No tickets matched all six numbers, so the jackpot for the next drawing on Tuesday is estimated to be $800 million, or $371 million if a winner chooses the cash option.
The large prize has been growing since late June, when a Virginia winner claimed $348 million.
