Kennesaw State University assistant professor Madalynn Marshall found her passion for solid-state chemistry early in her college career.
“During my undergraduate years at Iowa State, I was able to gain some research experience with Dr. Gordon Miller, a leader in solid-state chemistry,”
Marshall said, recalling her experience. She was drawn to the unique aspects of solid-state chemistry, particularly exploring magnetism in rare earths and transition metals.
