Reunited After 55 Years
A 77-year-old Japanese man, Tatsuhiko Yamamoto, has reconnected with an 81-year-old Swiss woman, Marlies, whom he met at the 1970 Osaka Expo.
Yamamoto, who was 22 at the time, visited the Swiss Pavilion and met Marlies, a staff member. They took a photo together in front of the "Tree of Light" pavilion.
I felt admiration, not love, at first sight
Yamamoto had promised to print the photo and bring it to her, but she was not there when he returned. They lost touch until this year, when Swiss staff at the same event helped them reunite.
