As Slow Horses season 5 ends, Apple TV introduces a new Mick Herron drama series, Down Cemetery Road, to keep subscribers engaged.
The series, based on the book of the same name, premiered with a two-episode debut on Apple TV, starring Ruth Wilson and Emma Thompson. The show follows the disappearance of a girl after an unexplained explosion in a house, with Wilson playing Sarah, a neighbor who teams up with private investigator Zoe Boehm (played by Thompson) to crack the case.
The show is unmistakably British with wit and humor intermingled into the dark story.
Filming took place in Bristol, Somerset, and Oxford. The first two episodes are available to watch with an Apple TV subscription, and new accounts can get a seven-day free trial.
