NCIS Season 23 Episode 3 took a detour from serious content, offering a laugh-out-loud hour with the B Team.
The episode started with Nick being pulled aside, seemingly sidelined for duty, but this plot point was a red herring unrelated to his chat with Director Vance.
Agent Dale Sawyer, last seen in NCIS Season 22 Episode 15, made a surprising return, working with Jessica. Torres then appeared, jumping on the hood of a car, demanding Sawyer get away from Jessica.
