World champion Matthew Hauser will headline the Noosa Triathlon after Gentle's scheduling conflict ended her decade-long winning streak.

Gentle's move to middle-distance racing has changed her schedule, preventing her from extending her winning streak.
Hauser will participate in the 1.5km swim, 40km cycle, and 10km victory lap at the 42nd Noosa Triathlon on Sunday.
