Jamaican Woman Stranded in Myrtle Beach Amidst Hurricane Melissa
Hurricane Melissa is causing distress in Jamaica and among family members in the Grand Strand.
Calete Moultin, a Jamaican resident in the U.S. on a visa, had her return plans altered by the hurricane.
Moultin expressed gratitude towards the city of Myrtle Beach for praying for Jamaica, showing compassion.
"I am very worried,"
she said, unable to be with her family during the storm. Her family in Cave Valley lost electricity, and their cellphone batteries are depleting.
Moultin relies on her church family for support, advising her daughter to stay indoors as her father boarded up some windows.
