Thomas "Tom" J. Stine
Thomas “Tom” Joseph Stine, 81, of McConnelsville, passed away peacefully at his home on October 24, 2025.
He was born in Zanesville on June 15, 1944, a son of the late William “Bill” Joseph and Mary Edna (Metcalf) Stine.
Tom retired from the United Mine Workers and Sidwell Brothers, where he worked as a heavy equipment operator.
He also owned and operated his own horse logging business for many years.
A true outdoorsman, Tom enjoyed every aspect of nature — gardening, hunting, and fishing were among his favorite pastimes.
He cherished his family deeply, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him endless joy.
