Life has been demanding in the second decade of my marriage, and my husband and I have barely managed to have traditional 'date nights'.
We do get out for groceries, doctors' appointments, children's school functions, and family holidays, but romantic occasions are rare.
Recently, we found time for a cinema show, but unfortunately, the only available option was "The Materialists", a movie I must warn readers to avoid due to its dullness and unimpressive lead, Dakota Johnson.
